Dr. Emily Stoddart holds a medical degree from the University of Tasmania and completed her general practice training in the UK in 2003, achieving membership of the Royal College of General Practitioners, London.
During her time working in the UK, she also gained diplomas in children’s health, obstetrics, and gynaecology from the Royal College of Paediatrics and Child Health and the Royal College of Obstetrics and Gynaecology.
In 2004 she and her husband moved back to Australia and settled on the Coast and she is now a Fellow of the Royal Australian College of GPs. She has worked as a general practitioner on the coast since 2004 and has been at the Point Clare Practice since 2009.
Dr. Stoddart’s practice covers all areas of general practice as well as minor skin surgeries. She visits a local residential hostel regularly and likes the variety that being a general practitioner brings.
